摘要: PURPOSE: To evaluate the feasibility of micro computed tomography (CT) for analysis coronary artery wall. MATERIALS AND METHODS: With CT, two-dimensional transverse images were generated from 10 human autopsy specimens arteries (2.5–3.5 cm long), with section thickness 6 μm. Vessel wall perimeter, plaque area, calcified lesion media and lumen area determined by three experienced radiologists. Results compared those obtained a detailed conventional histomorphometric corresponding cross sections. Hotelling T2 test (a multivariate generalization univariate Student t test) Pearson correlation coefficient used to assess between CT findings histologic measurements.
