Neospora caninum in sheep: a herd case report

摘要: Neospora caninum was detected by means of PCR in the brain 4 out 20 aborted fetuses a flock 117 sheep exhibiting persistent abortion problem, and N. tissue cysts were furthermore found encephalitic lesions one PCR-positive fetuses. Toxoplasma gondii as aborting agent another 3 Antibodies to (by indirect fluorescence antibody test (IFAT)) 10.3% ewes antibodies for T. 97.4% ewes. Other organisms associated with Chlamydia psittaci three Pasteurella multocida fetus. This is first report naturally infected sheep.
