摘要: Itraconazole is a synthetic triazole antifungal agent. was formulated into several pharmaceutical forms through various routes of administration. capsules are used to treat fungal infections in the lungs that can spread throughout body. For quality control and stability testing formulations, limited methods have been published, because drug not yet official any pharmacopoeia. The present work made an attempt develop more precise, simple economical spectrophotometric method with greater precision, accuracy sensitivity for analysis bulk capsule dosage forms. UV spectroscopic determination carried out at absorption maximum 267 nm using Chloroform as solvent. In linearity over concentration range found be 1-10 µg/ml correlation coefficient 0.999. Results analyses were validated statistically by recovery studies. parameters like linearity, accuracy, limit detection quantification studied according International Conference on Harmonization guidelines.
