摘要: Polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies have been invaluable tools to study proteins over the past decades. While indispensable for most biological studies including developmental biology, used mostly in fixed tissues or as binding reagents extracellular milieu. For functional clinical applications, functionalized by covalently fusing them heterologous partners (i.e., chemicals, other moieties). Such less widely biology studies. In few years, discovery application of small fragments derived from single-chain antibodies, so-called nanobodies, has resulted novel approaches during development multicellular animals vivo. Expression nanobody fusions integrated transgenes allows manipulating interest intracellular milieu a tissue- time-dependent manner an unprecedented manner. Here, we describe how nanobodies field look into future imagine else nanobody-based could be further developed proteome living organisms.
