摘要: The locus of the Information Systems discipline is at intersection organizations, people, and those technologies systems specifically related to acquisition, storage, analysis, interpretation, communication data. However, much published research trifurcated, emphasizing one dimension virtually ignoring others. We argue that a deeper understanding an appropriate emphasis on technological dimension, information technology artifact, will significantly benefit in discipline. By doing this manner explicitly recognizes organizational human contexts, we better orient our work toward needs various constituencies. look two specific examples potentially rich areas enquiry: workflow management semantic Web. Using design science paradigm, describe how these can serve as exemplars address key concerns conclude by discussing roles authors, journals, itself play addressing challenges are presented.
