摘要: High energy ball milling was used to produce a nanostructured Al matrix composite reinforced by submicron α-alumina particles. Scanning electron microscopy analysis as well tap and green density measurements were optimize the time needed for completion of mechanical process. Results show that addition alumina particles reinforcement has drastic effect on size, morphology pressability powder. shows distribution in reaches full homogeneity after steady state. This would increase hardness powder due nano-structured oxide dispersion strengthening.
