摘要: AbstractA taxonomic perspective of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) barcoding is presented here with respect to its use within the freshwater science community. The goals and methods DNA criticisms leveled at procedure by community are explained. major goal DNA-barcoding efforts aid identification specimens matching sequences a sequence library. This achievable, but must be coupled much wider sampling regime should done full cooperation collaboration Through collaborative efforts, taxonomists barcode advocates can build capacity for taxonomy vast number needed truly comprehensive library benthic scientists. Other goals, such as species diagnosis biodiversity surveys, more problematic, solutions possible.
