摘要: Background Two-channel (or two-color) microarrays are cost-effective platforms for comparative analysis of gene expression. They traditionally analysed in terms the log-ratios (M-values) two channel intensities at each spot, but this does not use all information available separate observations. Mixed models have been proposed to analyse from channels as observations, such can be complex and gain efficiency over log-ratio is difficult quantify. yield test statistics null distributions specified only approximately, some approaches do borrow strength between genes.
