摘要: We measured the photothermal lens signal in samples exhibiting high turbidity using a pump-probe scheme. show that properties remain nearly unchanged up to values of 6 cm?1 despite reduction due decrease excitation power associated losses. The starts decreasing abruptly for larger than cm?1. Multiple light scattering yields temperature gradients, which results effective signal. However, signal-to-noise ratio remains above 50 9 cm?1, corresponds transmission by more four orders magnitude. report on detection through 2 mm layer organic tissue with about 500. This technique appears promising imaging applications samples, usually exhibit visible and near-infrared light.
