摘要: Abstract The electrochemical behavior of guanine at a redox polymer film modified indium tin oxide electrode is examined by voltammetry and amperometry. results indicate that the reduces overpotential oxidation as much 550 mV. pH dependent occurs 0.61 V (versus Ag/AgCl) under physiological conditions, lowest potential ever reported. Rotating disk (RDE) experiments reveal kinetics electrocatalysis very fast, hence current solely controlled mass-transport process in solution. Guanine detected amperometrically 0.65 V with sensitivity enhancement two orders magnitude over an unmodified electrode. A calibration curve linear concentration range 8.0 nM–100 μM correlation coefficient 0.997 detection limit 5.0 nM. also shows good anti-fouling properties towards product surfactants.
