摘要: BACKGROUND: Many small veins are called accessory, short hepatic in addition to the right, middle and left veins. The size of these varied from a pinhole 1 cm; inferior right (IRHVs) is thicker than that or more cm occasionally. Adults have higher incidence rate IRHV. DATA SOURCES: A literature search PubMed database was conducted research articles were reviewed. RESULTS: IRHVs related vein, i.e. larger diameter smaller IRHVs, vice versa. divided into superior, medial groups, separately named according position IRHV entering vena cava. superior vein mainly drains part segment Ⅶ, Ⅶ. Ⅵand Ⅶ thinner segmentⅤ. CONCLUSIONS: clinical significance studies on varied: (1) Hepatic caudate lobe resection could be introduced after study lobe. (2) It very important identify draining region for guiding segmentectomy. postero-inferior area can preserved along with hypertrophic even if entire main resected during segmentectomy Ⅷwith patients primary liver cancer. (3) ligation major treatment juxtahepatic injury recommended because severe hemorrhagic shock difficulty exposure. (4) helpful decide therapeutic modalities Budd-Chiari syndrome.
