摘要: Acculturation to the culture of host society as well one’s heritage have been shown impact immigrants’ adjustment during years following resettlement. While acculturation has identified an important factor in Vietnamese immigrants (Birman and Tran Am J Orthopsychiatr 78(1):109–120. doi:10.1037/0002-9432.78.1.109, 2008), no clear pattern findings emerged too few studies employed ecological approach. The purpose this paper is contextualize study by taking approach exploring these relationships across several life domains, using a bilinear scale, examining mediators for adult refugees (N = 203) United States. We call Ecological Framework (EAF). Results structural equation model (SEM) showed that job satisfaction fully mediated relationship between American psychological distress, demonstrating was specific occupational domain. However, while predicted co-ethnic social support satisfaction, it did not predict reduced distress. Implications domains approach, including domain specificity, are discussed.
