摘要: Objective The aim of present study was to investigate the efficacy MXSGT, a traditional Chinese medicine formula used for treatment respiratory system diseases, in LPS-induced rat ALI particularly with focus on its effect lung microvascular hyperpermeability and inflammatory reaction. Methods Male Sprague-Dawley rats were injected LPS (7.5 mg/kg, 1.5 mg/mL) intraperitoneally. MXSGT (0.52 g or 2.61 g/kg) given by gavage six hours after injection. Results LPS stimulation resulted reduced survival rate, deteriorated vital signs, an increase number leukocytes adhering venules, albumin leakage, activity MPO tissues, production pro-inflammatory cytokines perivascular edema. After stimulation, western blot analysis revealed expression ICAM-1 toll-like receptor 4, decrease tight junction proteins activation cav-1, Src, NF-κB. All alterations significantly attenuated posttreatment MXSGT. Conclusions This demonstrated as potential strategy reaction ALI, suggested that beneficial role correlated
