摘要: Article history: Received: 13 Nov 2011 Accepted: 18 Jan 2012 Available online: 29 Oct ZJRMS 2013; 15(6): 25-28 Background: Since eucalyptus is a traditional plant which has been consumed as antidiabetic in herbal medicines, the aim of this survey was to compare effect aqueous extract and insulin on serum blood sugar liver enzymes streptozotocin (STZ) diabetic male rats. Material & Methods: The experiment performed four groups rats: sham control (A), (B), (C) received group (D) Eucalyptus drinking water for 4 weeks (n=8). Sham B did not receive any agents. At end, animals were deep anesthetized by diethyl ether, sacrificed samples collected. Blood sugar, lipids measured ordinary methods. Obtained data analyzed using ANOVA Tukey tests. Results expressed mean±SD. Statistical difference p<0.05 recognized significant. Results: showed that C significantly decreased compared with but ALT, AST ALP activity value increased those other groups.
