摘要: Abstract Study region North and South Dakotas, United States focus Changes in watershed hydrology are mainly driven by changes land use climate. This study evaluated the impacts of climate on streamflow an agricultural Upper Midwest. Three projected change scenarios (A1B, A2 B1) three general circulation models (CGCM3.1, GFDL-CM2.1, HADCM3) were developed for mid (2046–2065) end (2080–2099) 21st century. Corresponding maps years 2055 2090 obtained from FOREcasting SCEnarios Land-Cover (FORE-SCE) model. The designed a way that was changed while conditions remain constant, then held constant under changing climate, finally both simultaneously to reflect possible future conditions. New hydrological insights Potential would result 12–18% % 17–41% increases annual streamflow, respectively, combined effects intensify responses with 13–60% region. provides broad perspective plausible hydrologic alterations region, prompting individual collective opportunities engage this topic sustainable planning management watersheds.
