摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter focuses on the analysis of glucocorticoid receptors (GR)-immunoreactive nerve cell and glial populations in pre- postnatal period, adult life, aging emphasizes involvement these trophic regulation neuronal networks. The nuclear GR immunoreactivity cells is not as strong but clearly demonstrable within astroglia. Evidence suggests that prenatal corticosterone affects locomotor activity late prepubertal male female rats. It has been reported adrenalectomy adulthood can protect against agerelated hippocampal changes increases serum levels result neurotoxic effects cells. Future work will determine differential glucocorticoids various their interaction with mineralocorticoids this regulation.
