Topology-focused availability analysis of basic protection schemes in optical transport networks

摘要: We present a novel study of the availability in optical networks based on network topology. Connection is studied under two basic path protection schemes. Different topologies are selected order to have heterogeneity geographic coverage, diameter, link lengths, and average node degree. also computed considering reliability data physical components well-known model. Results report some useful information select suitable algorithms according topology features required levels availability.
