摘要: Replicated trials were conducted near Alliston, Ontario, in 1983 and 1984 to evaluate the efficacy of five chemical treatments controlling root-lesion nematode Pratylenchus penetrans on potato, Solanum tuberosum cv. Russet Burbank. The fumigants Vorlex, at 55 liters product/ha, Telone II B, 75 more effective suppressing high initial population densities 18,320 50,880 P. penetrans/kg soil 1984, respectively, than single applications systemic pesticides Temik 10 G 22 kg Vydate L 18 9 Furadan 33 product/ha. combination Vorlex + resulted greatest suppression lowest populations harvest. In 1983, marketable tuber yield ( 7 cm) plots was 20.7 t/ha, compared 4.7 t for untreated check. alone B yielded 17.3 15.9 respectively; with 7.5 also better did not influence yields significantly. Total differed from check all except Furadan. ranged 15.5 t/ha treatment 11.2 check, but differences statistically significant. yields, however, significantly increased by fumigants. difference response 2 years attributed greater heat stress lack supplementary irrigation 1983.
