摘要: Colorectal carcinoma is one of the most frequent cancer diseases. For patients with this type cancer, liver metastases are main cause death. Therefore, new therapeutic approaches urgently needed to improve outcomes. We found that both mRNA and protein levels tissue inhibitor metalloproteinase-3 (TIMP3) were decreased significantly in colorectal when compared normal mucosa, suggesting decrease TIMP3 expression was correlated malignant behavior cancer. evaluated power TIMP3, a potent multiple functional molecule, as biotheropeutic tool treat Adenovirus-mediated transduction CT26 colon model demonstrated effects arrest cell growth induced massive apoptosis. Also, adenovirally transferred reduced adhesion, migration invasion behaviors cells vitro. In vivo data showed suppressed tumor metastasis by transduction. This first systematic preclinical study show may be potential molecular for biological therapy.
