摘要: Leptin is a protein hormone produced predominantly by adipocytes. The influence of physical exercise on serum leptin levels was not studied in the horse. aim our research to evaluate, this species, variations and glucose concentration during show jumping. Moreover, blood lactate determined order evaluate intensity effort. Eight Sella Italiana horses were used for study. test consisted six jumping trials at different heights (between 100 140 cm). Blood samples collected through jugular venipuncture following experimental conditions: rest, immediately after trial, 30 min trial 24 h trial. analyzed with field meter (Accusport Boehringer Mannheim, Monza, Italy). Glucose enzymatic colorimetric method GOD-PAP, while quantified using ELISA kits. From analysis obtained results, applying repeated measures ANOVA, P value P<0.0001, F (7,21) = 34.35 P<0.0003, (7, 21) 8.706, no statistical significance observed concentration. Obtained results showed that short duration exercise, as jumping, does affect levels.
