摘要: The wear mechanisms and their transitions of 52100 1080 steels with various microstructures in dry sliding were systematically studied by testing SEM observations worn surfaces particles. results show that there are three dominant mechanisms, i.e., mild characterized oxidation, severe adhesion delamination, melting wear, appeared succession increasing normal load and/or speed. transition depends mainly upon the conditions testing. microstructure have almost no remarkable effect on general law mechanisms. On basis calculating rate analyzing morphology particles, a criterion was suggested, which one can easily identify from to wear.
