Rat pancreas kinesin: identification and potential binding to microtubules.

摘要: We have demonstrated the presence of kinesin in secretory pancreatic tissue using SDS-PAGE, immunoblot and immunoelectron microscopy techniques. Polyclonal antibodies were raised against rat brain heavy chain affinity-purified. Immunoblot studies showed that these bound to a 116 kDa protein found pancreas crude extracts partially purified fractions. Kinesin identification was also performed by cosedimentation procedure based on its strong binding microtubules sodium fluoride. The microtubule-kinesin complex observed gold staining. reversible association with generated MgATP.
