摘要: Introduction: Modifying the durability of resin bonding systems resulted in introducing materials with cross-link property, such as chlorhexidine (CHX) that can promote strength resin-dentin bonding. The aim this study was evaluation effect CHX on shear bond (SBS) self-etch (SE) and etch-and-rinse (E&R) to primary teeth dentin. Materials methods: In vitro study, 40 freshly extracted molars collected were cut mesiodistally, then buccal lingual surface enamel grounded. specimens randomly divided into two groups: I: Single Bond adhesive II: Clearfil SE adhesive. Then, each group subgroups: On sample applied for 30 seconds (I2, II2 groups), not applied. SBS (MPa) samples assessed using Zwick universal testing machine. Data analyzed by paired t-test independent Statistical Package Social Sciences (SPSS), version 16. Results: mean significantly higher (66.45 ± 8.3) than without (25.43 12.94) nonaging (p = 0.002). There no significant difference aging groups. Conclusion: had positive influence immediate addition, has been seen system. Clinical significance: Now more researches are needed about recommendation restorations teeth. Keywords: Chlorhexidine, Etch-and-rinse adhesive, Failure pattern, Self-etch Shear strength.
