摘要: Abstract The stuffed derivative of the tridymite structure, oxide BaAl2O4 has been regarded as a long persistent phosphor. Thermoluminescence (TL) glow curve peaks thin pellet samples undoped and, Sm3+ and Tb3+ doped prepared by combustion method was reported. structure compounds monitored X-ray diffraction found single-phase compound with hexagonal structure. Performing series TL measurements for temperature range from room to 400 °C, effect beta radiation dose on response, various heating rate (HR) properties phosphors were investigated. Peak shape also utilized assess trap parameters. activation energy main peak at 128 °C be 0.97 eV. curves obtained decrease increasing HR value (varying 0.5 15 °C s−1) in way matching thermal quenching effect. Contrary expectations, anomalous dependence observed sample semi-localized transition model used order explain such behaviour.
