摘要: Pennsylvania sedge (Carex pensylvanica) has horticultural and restoration potential, but the achenes are difficult to germinate due complex dormancy requirements. This study identified treatments overcome physiological determined light temperature requirements for optimum germination. We first tested effects of perigynia removal on achene In second experiment, were subjected varying durations dry-cold or dry-warm storage conditions a presowing soak in gibberellic acid (GA3). third we studied whether conditions, cold stratification, sowing temperatures affected germination was improved by storage, removal, light.
