摘要: Pricing and technological innovation are discussed within the context of beef industry’s value-based marketing initiative. Cash contract practices for fed cattle addressed with respect to slaughter volume pricing methods (live, dressed, grid). A methodology estimating grid market share weekly volume, based on USDA reports (2004–2009), is introduced. Weekly shares cash markets derived. Summary statistics indicate that has become an important mechanism, but not surpassed average share.
