摘要: Weekly grid market share by volume for slaughter steers is compared with heifers. Summary statistics indicate average (42%) higher relative to heifers (33%). The literature indicates that pregnancy and increased dark cutter incidence associated create additional financial risk when are sold on a grid. Empirical evidence suggests carcass quality plausible contributing factor gender disparity respect share.
