摘要: The inactivation of Clostridium perfringens type A spores (three strains different heat resistances) at ultrahigh temperatures was studied. Aqueous spore suspensions were heated 85 to 135 C by the capillary tube method. When survivors enumerated on standard plating medium, appeared have been rapidly inactivated above 100 C. addition lysozyme medium did not affect recovery surviving early stages heating, but required for maximal extended treatments. percentage requiring colony formation increased greatly with longer exposure times or increasing treatment temperature. Time-survivor curves indicated that each suspension heterogeneous respect resistance outgrowth system in sensitivity lysozyme. Recovery containing revealed greater one strain than has reported many mesophilic aerobes and anaerobes. all three more resistant when suspended phosphate buffer, a formation.
