摘要: SummaryThe article reports on progress in the analysis of data from a dermatoglyphic survey 6235 Kenyan schoolchildren, drawn some 60 ethnic populations. The findings indicate considerable variation within Kenya for majority traits examined, often approaching full sub-Saharan African range. examination inter-population relationships is complex, owing to inconsistencies population rankings both between phenetically unrelated and sexes. Moreover, no appreciable clustering populations along linguistic or lines was detected during multivariate investigation.
