摘要: In a system of interacting colloidal particles one can distinguish collective diffusion, short-time and long-time self-diffusion exchange diffusion. The meanings connections between these diffusivities are established. It is shown how various Brownian may be obtained from dynamic light scattering measurements on monodisperse polydisperse systems. Experimental results for both dilute concentrated sterically stabilized silica dispersions presented. experimental concentration dependence the compared with theoretical predictions.
