Tooth resorption part II - external resorption: Case series

摘要: External tooth resorption usually follows trauma to the periodontal ligament. It can be classified into five categories based on its clinical and histological manifestations. Calcium hydroxide has long been used as an intracanal medicament slow down process due alkaline pH. A combination of both external internal resorptions also occur same tooth, making management more complex. Five case reports have presented in this article along with pertinent review literature. Successful was possible two cases, while extractions had advised 3 cases advanced nature lesions.
