摘要: The final constitution of cannabiscitrin has been established. It is a monoglucoside the flavonol cannabiscetin, carrying sugar group in side phenyl nucleus 3′-position. This arrived at from following considerations:—It gives gossypetone reaction and after complete methylation hydrolysis, it yields pentamethyl cannabiscetin which on decomposition produces 4∶5-dimethyl gallic acid. same acid also obtained by first decomposing with alkali, then subjecting products to subsequent hydrolysis. Thus glucoside belongs an unusual type resembles butrin.
