The quantum plasma lens concept: a preliminary investigation

摘要: Recently, a theoretical investigation of the collective and nonlocal quantum effects has been carried out within framework approach to relativistic charged particle beam travelling in cold, collisionless, strongly magnetized plasma. This done taking into account both plasma wake field excitation paraxial approximation. On basis this theory, here we carry preliminary study transverse experienced by cold through thin slab (plasma lens). In regime, which experiences very strong focusing effect, scheme lens is reviewed terms wave description provided above theory.
