摘要: A regime of the plasma wave-field accelerator (PWFA) is proposed, in which a high-intensity electron beam used to excite extremely nonlinear, transverse motion-dominated oscillations. Through computational analysis motion and associated wake fields, it shown that if dense enough eject nearly all electrons from channel, then short-range fields are excellent quality for acceleration focusing beams. These results clear up many conceptual difficulties with practical realization PWFA.
