摘要: Single and multidimensional GC-ECD techniques were applied to determine individual chlorobiphenyls (CBs) in solution suspended particles the Baltic Sea (some data also obtained for adjacent German Bight North Sea). Large volumes (up 1100 dm3) analysed transects November 1988 1989 spring 1991. Salinity temperature measured continuously along sampling tracks all three cruises; nutrients pH only latter two cruises. Concentrations of CBs sub- low pg dm−3 range (detection limit being 0.05 dm−3), their sum between 2 237 dm−3. These concentrations are considerably lower than previously reported data. This is mainly result elimination contamination interference problems sampling, clean-up procedures. It may partly reflect reduction production use PCBs last decade. The highest originated from local sources Belt Gulf Finland. Regional differences found compositions CB mixtures solution. The lowest areas periods plankton (spring 1991), with ΣCB 14 dm−3.
