miRNA–mRNA crosstalk in esophageal cancer: From diagnosis to therapy

摘要: The asymptomatic nature of esophageal cancer (EC) at early stages results in late clinical presentation leading to poor prognosis and limited success therapeutic modalities. Efforts identify diagnostic/prognostic markers have proven be unsuccessful for translation into clinics. Hence, there is a pressing need establishment novel non-invasive biomarker diagnosis/better EC. Recently, alteration microRNA (miRNA) expression has emerged as an important hallmark cancer. This review summarizes the differential miRNAs EC addresses how their aberrant influences crucial biological processes such apoptosis, cell proliferation, invasion metastasis. Additionally, this highlights current status circulating miRNA based markers. An effort been made find connection between different involved detailed analysis done screen out micoRNAs multidrug resistance. Further, investigation these would not only provide gene therapy strategy prevent/treat but also reverse resistance decreased requirement harmful chemotherapeutic drugs.
