摘要: Abstract Del1 is a unique αvβ3 integrin ligand that produced by endothelial cells, and thus provides an autocrine signaling pathway in this cell type. It expressed transiently the embryo mediates attachment, migration, activation of cytoplasmic molecules focal contacts. also activates angiogenesis chick chorioallantoic membrane assay. Reexpression embryonic molecule has now been documented naturally occurring human tumors, where it both tumor cells angiogenic suggesting important mediating under pathophysiological conditions adult. To investigate role growth angiogenesis, 143B osteosarcoma murine Lewis lung carcinoma were engineered to express compared control transfectants for their ability produce tumors nude or syngeneic mice, respectively. expressing showed two- fourfold increase capillary density accelerated rate growth. Expression correlated with decrease apoptosis vivo. Taken together, these data suggest acts as factor context solid formation vascularization accelerates through decreased apoptosis.
