NUT charge, anti-de Sitter space, and entropy

摘要: It has been proposed that spacetimes with a $U(1)$ isometry group have contributions to the entropy from Misner strings as well area of $d\ensuremath{-}2$ dimensional fixed point sets. In this paper we test proposal by constructing Taub-NUT-AdS and Taub-bolt-AdS solutions which are examples new class asymptotically locally anti\char21{}de Sitter space. We find additional contribution strings, exactly reproduce calculated action usual thermodynamic relations. This right parameter dependence agree conformal field theory on boundary, is squashed three-sphere, at least in limit large squashing. However, normalization remain be determined.
