摘要: The identification of the potential hydropower at river scale (within a single basin) needs precise analysis water availability in terms annual stream discharge duration curve coupled with available geodetic falls. paper presents GIS integrated numerical tool that allows for evaluation residual energy and all possible alternatives concerning sites hydroelectric plants along drainage network, taking into account relationship between full costs mini-hydro power benefits from selling generated national market. takes resources present exploitation its geographical location elevation (with respect to irrigation uses, drinkable water, existing plants, etc.), limitation this creates regarding potentiality production. software is based on topographic information (Digital Elevation Model) isohyets maps, whole catchment, together regional discharges system. Based upon user friendly graphical interface able split hundreds cross sections calculate production, considering constrains like minimum flow, withdrawals restitutions scheme. shows be quite powerful instrument support decision makers stakeholders, preparing plans, assess implement small plants.
