摘要: A 36-year-old woman presented to hospital after a penetrating chest injury. She was haemodynamically stable. Echocardiography revealed left ventricular thrombus, with minimal pericardial effusion and no associated cardiac injuries. Intravenous anticoagulation commenced for her intracardiac thrombus monitored serial echocardiography. remained well, converted warfarin discharged home day 12 post admission, cautious follow-up given risk of late tamponade. Follow-up imaging resolution thrombus. remains well date.
