摘要: A new test of core biomechanics concepts (BCI2) was developed, administered to an introductory class, and the results compared with a subsample similar students tested original Biomechanics Concept Inventory (BCI). Following instruction mean student scores improved 33% that equivalent normalized gain (g) 24% maximum possible improvement. Improvement were not significantly different from at same university who had taken first version test. These support previous study provide normative data for evaluating learning in biomechanics. The questions on BCI2 may be substituted items BCI help instructors construct customized tests evaluate instructional strategies.
