Perception of exercise behaviour and stability of psychological factors: a study across time and gender

摘要: This study observed the variables that predict perception of current exercise frequency across two time points practice, and tested stability some psychological factors associated with exercise, controlling participants’ gender differences. The included 102 participants (70 females, 68.6%, 32 males, 31.4%). All were evaluated in terms personal information, frequency, attitudes, perceived behavioural control, regulation, satisfaction body shape physical appearance, weight-related instructor pressure. explained variance for was relatively low, but similar data collection. predictor also stable time. However, dimensions varied time, pointing out practice is less motivating gratifying women. confirmed highlighted difficulties to explain behaviour (Mohiyeddini, Pauli, & Bauer, 2009; Sheeran, 2002), becoming necessary integrate more explanation related exercise. do not change significantly Moreover, differences become important when observing changes exercisers.
