摘要: Effects of particle density and droplet deformation on the performance a TSI aerodynamic sizer (APS) were studied using polystyrene latex (PSL), dioctyl phthalate (DOP), ammonium fluorescein (AF), fused aluminosilicate (FAP), cerium oxide (FCO) monodisperse aerosols. Results indicated that, because sensitivity instrument, periodic cleaning APS inner nozzle is needed to maintain consistency its calibration curve. Density effects experimentally confirmed with PSL, AF, FAP, FCO aerosols densities ranging from 1.05 4.33 g/cm3. Results, however, showed that this effect can only be detected for particles greater than 2 g/cm3 diameter 5 (μm. DOP.
