摘要: Obesity is the actual worldwide health threat, that associated with an increased number of metabolic disorders and diseases. Following traditional hypothesis stating in obesity hypertrophic adipocytes trigger adipose tissue hyperplasia, strategies to treat have fat researches molecular processes achieve adipocyte enlargement formation finally increase body mass. Moreover, a new cell type was recently identified, "brite" presents unique gene expression profile compared both brown white adipocytes. Therapies against obesity, targeting these cells their pathways, would include induction lipolysis apoptosis or inhibition differentiation adipogenesis. However, it should be noted size take place association positive energy balance. According expansion hypothesis, adipogenesis could related improved obese people, taking back mass traditionally site lipid storage. Furthermore, perspectives biology suggest conversion white-to-brown metabolism exploited for development therapeutic approaches obesity-associated diseases regulation Drugs currently available generally unpleasant side effects. A novel promising approach usage dietary supplements plant products interfere on life cycle adipocyte. Here, various bioactive compounds target different stages pathways are reviewed.
