摘要: The prevalence of obesity has increased rapidly, resulting in a huge impact on human health worldwide. Obesity is also associated with an risk various metabolic diseases. Despite understanding the pathological mechanisms development obesity, pharmacotherapy remains limited effectiveness for management this disease. Over past few decades, research bioactive compounds functional foods provided new strategy anti-obesity. These dietary bioactives act to regulate food intake, adipocyte lifecycle and function, lipid metabolism through genetic epigenetic prevent improve obesity. Although efficacy these humans requires further investigation, they hold great promise improving population health.
