摘要: Backround. Pancreas resection is the only curative treatment for pancreatic adenocarcinoma. In event of unexpected incidental liver metastases during operative exploration patients were traditionally referred to palliative arms. With continuous progress in surgical expertise simultaneous pancreas and resections seem technically feasible nowadays. The aim this study therefore was analyze impact synchronous liver-directed therapy on outcome overall survival with hepatic metastasized adenocarcinoma (HMPA). Methods. 22 who underwent HMPA between January 1, 2004 2009 compared classic nonmetastasized (NMPA) a matched pair design. Postoperative morbidity, preoperative, data analyzed. Results. Overall significantly decreased group. morbidity mortality median operation time did not differ groups. Conclusion. results our showed that may safely be performed applied individual HMPA. However, potential benefit radical approach regard and/or quality life remains proven.
