摘要: We examined the behavior of Formosan subterranean termites toward one components vetiver grass oil, roots which manufacture insect repellents. found nootkatone, a sesquiterpene ketone, isolated from oil is strong repellent and toxicant to termites. The lowest effective concentration tested was 10 μg/g substrate. This first report nootkatone being insects.
