Terrestrial Natural Products as Antifeedants

摘要: The study of feeding deterrents from plants for insects has discovered many new and interesting compounds, particularly among the terpenes. Studies semisynthetic compounds related to these have revealed some structure–activity relationships (SAR), although their use is limited. While there a need antifeedants birds higher animals, work in this area not progressed far. There much variation design antifeedant tests between laboratories, which often makes comparisons difficult.
