摘要: There is much discussion of adopting COVID-19 immunity certificates to allow those proven have antibodies the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes resume normal life and help restart economy. This article points out issues must be considered before any such program. These fall into six categories: uncertain science immunity; questionable quality antibody tests; practical problems with issuing certificates; deciding how might used; ethical social they would raise, especially fairness self-infection; potential legal barriers. It does not ultimately take a position on whether some narrow plans should adopted, concluding answer depends too many currently unknown conditions. But its seventh part makes recommendations decision-makers who consider implementing programs.
