摘要: Abstract Low cost mullite–zirconia composites were prepared from the mixtures of natural bauxite and zircon sand by using transferred arc plasma processing. In this paper, a mixture in ratio 7:3 weight (based on composition 3:2 mullite) was ball milled for 4 h melted 2 4 min. Argon used as forming gas. The torch operated at 5 kW input power. phase microstructure formation samples investigated XRD SEM images. results show that processing time is key factor to get single with required microstructure.
